A renovation of an existing penthouse apartment in downtown Boston. The overall design maximizes available space, creates clean lines, and preserves existing views of the harbor. A discreet television cabinet, and low-set fireplace produce a welcoming atmosphere within the apartment while maintaining
sight lines towards Boston Harbor. The refinished deck offers the client a comfortable exterior living area, and new casework, in the living room and library, provides additional storage space tailored to showcase the owner’s extensive art and book collection.
