Ted Touloukian gives Keynote Presentation at the 2019 AIAS Northeast Quad Conference.

The Northeast Quad Conference is an annual regional conference that takes place in a different city in the Northeast each year. One American Institute of Architecture Students (AIAS) chapter from each quadrant of the United States is selected to host and organize a conference for their quad.

This year’s conference hosted by Wentworth Institute of Technology explored ideas of a reflexive city and investigated topics around the subject including renewal, reintegration, resilience and restoration.

Lumen at Beacon Parka recognized by the BSA Small Firms Design Awards program

We are excited to share that Lumen has been selected as a winner by the Boston Society of Architects Small Firms Design Awards program , which recognizes structures or buildings of all project types designed by firms with ten employees or fewer.

Terminal B and Coleridge Street Residences recevie honorable mentions by Architect's Newspaper best of design awards for 2019

We are very pleased to have (3) of our projects be recognized by Architect’s Newspaper Best of Design Awards for 2019. Two have received Honorable Mention. Our Adaptive re-use project in Buffalo has been recognized in the Unbuilt Cultural category and Coleridge Street Residences in the Unbuilt Green category. Lumen at Beacon Park additionally received the Editor’s Pick in the Commercial Hospitality category.

Wood Works names Lumen at Beacon Park winner of 2019 “Beauty of Wood” award

Wood Works, Wood Product Council, has named Lumen at Beacon Park the recipient of the 2019 “Beauty of Wood” award in their annual award program which celebrate innovation and excellence in wood building design across the U.S.

“Awards are an opportunity to recognize building designers for their skill and ingenuity, and to showcase projects that demonstrate the attributes of wood that make it so appealing.”
