Renovation of an 1890’s (3) unit brick row house into a private residence. The design transforms the typical pattern language of an existing row house by implementing a new double height atrium at the entry, open floor plan with screens between public and private programs, selective exposure of brick walls and the detailing of a new glass and steel handrail system. The project design is a balance between modern and traditional elements of “old and new” Boston.
